About the role

Moombaki Early Learning is seeking a experienced and passionate Room Leaders and an educator to join our vibrant and growing team in Maddington WA.

As our Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of educators in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our children. This is a full-time role, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

Oversee the daily operations of your allocated room, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children

Plan, implement and evaluate a diverse range of developmentally appropriate learning experiences and activities

Provide guidance, support and mentorship to your team of educators, fostering their professional growth and development

Maintain strong relationships with families, communicating regularly and collaboratively to support each child's individual needs

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures

Contribute to the overall continuous improvement and strategic direction of the childcare centre

What we're looking for

Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Room Leader or in a similar supervisory role within the childcare sector

Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with children with behaviors issues

Demonstrated ability to create and implement engaging, play-based learning programs

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Commitment to upholding high standards of care and education

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications

Valid Working with Children Check
