We are looking for ONE professional and reliable painter, who can run jobs or work unsupervised who wants to go FULL TIME on wages with more than 8 years of proven experience and have a drivers license, reliable transportation, basic tools (scraper, step ladder, duster etc…) and a great attitude.

Most of our work is high end REPAINTS with some custom new home works. Our finishes carry an extreme attention to detail and we need someone who has experience in high quality repainting. Someone who considers themselves to be a perfectionist is the type of gentleman or lady we would love on our team!

We have extremely high standards in our workmanship, how we treat each other and our clients and we expect the same from anyone who applies for this role.

The suburbs we mostly work in are: South Yarra, Toorak, Armadale, Malvern, Bentleigh, Black Rock, Glen Iris, various areas in the city and surrounding suburbs, so most of our work is inner city Melbourne and we want someone who is willing to travel to these suburbs five days per week.

What we promise:

A FULL TIME WAGES position - this is not a subcontractor role, but a permanent ongoing role. Please do not apply if you are looking to work as a subcontractor

7-3 Monday-Friday

Work life balance - only do overtime if you want to

Performance reviews every 3-6 months with a view for a potential pay increase

NO volume builder work - only for a small number of boutique high end builders

Friendly and supportive supervisors/team leaders will help you grow as a painter to improve your skills

Most tools provided (except basic tools mentioned above)

Must haves:

Must provide valid police check (within the last 6 months) when applying

Must be ok with random drug testing

Own transport and own basic tools - these are must haves and we will only hire people who have these two.

A man or woman who wants to be on wages. We are not looking for subcontractors.

A good sense of humour (we like to have a laugh and joke a lot with each other)

High level of English (spoken and written)

Punctual - 5-10 mins early

Be ok with being pushed to get better and better as a painter and to grow as the team grows

A positive, calm non complaining personality

Have the type of mindset that allows us to eventually turn you into a supervisor

Be able to work on your own, unsupervised

Have a very high attention to detail and focus on quality

Patience with team members and clients
