Join Unilift Global – A Trusted Name in Lifting & Rigging Equipment for Over 25 Years
Location: Office-based in Orange, NSW (not remote)
Position: Senior Finance Officer / Accountant
Employment Type: Full-time preferred | Part-time negotiable (Mon–Fri daily hours required)
Unilift Global is one of Australia's leading providers of steel wire rope, lifting, and rigging equipment. With a strong reputation built over 25 years, we are proud to remain a family-owned and Australian-operated company — now expanding into the USA.
We’re known for our commitment to quality, professionalism, reliability, and outstanding service — and we’re looking for someone who shares these values to join our team in a key finance role.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Finance Officer / Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations and play a hands-on role in maintaining strong financial governance. This is a collaborative position where cultural fit is just as important as technical skill — we value someone who enjoys detail, but also thinks big-picture.
This role is office-based at our Orange, NSW headquarters. While full-time hours are preferred, we’re open to discussing part-time arrangements, provided hours are distributed across Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, and debt collection.
Provide inventory turnover analysis and stock reporting.
Handle end-of-month processes, including reconciliations, BAS, and payroll tax lodgements.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
Monitor and report on cash flow, manage creditors/debtors, and ensure compliance with credit policies and terms.
Support financial decision-making, including insurance and finance recommendations.
Identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities while maintaining service standards.
Collaborate with our Consultant CFO and external accountants to support financial reporting and control.
About You
You’ll be a strong fit for this role if you:
Bring 3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Hold formal qualifications in accounting/bookkeeping or have significant hands-on financial management experience.
Are confident using Microsoft Office and financial software; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Have experience in businesses with an operating budget of $10 million+ (ideal, but not essential).
Are detail-focused, collaborative, and comfortable working both independently and with external advisors.
Have a proactive approach to improving systems, processes, and financial reporting.
Ready to Apply?
To express your interest via SEEK with your updated resume along with a cover letter detailing how you meet the above criteria.
