Position Overview
We are currently seeking passionate and skilled teachers with expertise in Design, Industrial Technology, and Engineering. Whether you specialise in one area or have the versatility to teach across multiple disciplines, we welcome your application.
Multiple opportunities are available, including Fixed Term Contracts ranging from 6 months to 12 months, as well as a permanent position.
The Role
Are you ready to inspire the next generation of creators, makers, and problem-solvers? We’re looking for innovative and dedicated teachers to join our Innovation and Technologies Team, with expertise in Design, Industrial Technology, or Engineering.
These roles offer the opportunity to work in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where creativity and practical skills are celebrated. You’ll be supported by strong leadership and a team of passionate educators who value professional growth and student engagement.
Whether you're guiding students through design thinking, hands-on fabrication, or engineering principles, you'll be helping them develop critical skills for the future.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience teaching in one or more of the following areas: Design, Industrial Technology, Engineering.
Strong understanding of both ACARA and QCAA syllabuses, assessment requirements, and curriculum planning.
Proven ability to deliver engaging, differentiated, and evidence-based teaching practices that support student learning and achievement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that supports both academic and personal development.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, contribute to faculty planning, and adapt to the evolving needs of the College.
Eligibility Requirements
All teachers are expected to have a current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
