Your new role
As a Lending Operations Associate, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of lending transactions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and processes. You will work closely with front-line bankers, brokers, solicitors & customers to support home loan processing across various stages of the loan process including construction, fund disbursement and loan maintenance.
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Review & verify loan documents for eligibility, compliance & authenticity
- Process and administer home loan settlements and fund disbursement across stages of construction
- End-to-end case management of customer requests and complaints
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders with high focus on delivering results to customers
- Communicate with bankers, brokers, solicitors, builders & customers as required
- Monitor inboxes and respond to requests from front-line bankers and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to service level agreements and meet critical deadlines around loan settlement
- Perform first line of defence and adhere to risk frameworks and policies
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by inputting the correct information in core NAB systems and in line with team processes
The Details
- Location: 700 Bourke Street, Melbourne
- Duration: 12-month temporary contact
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible between 7 am - 7pm
- Hybrid: 12 weeks of in-office training. Post that you will be eligible for hybrid flexibility with 2 days wfh
- Remuneration: $45 per hour + Super
What you'll need to succeed
- Prior experience in banking/finance operations mandatory
- Experience working closely with mortgages and loan document processing is desirable.
- Proven ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and time management skills
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
