Registered Nurse

Position Details:

Type: Full-Time

Hours: 36 hours per week (Additional Hours may be required - Leave Cover)

Location: Dalkeith

Clinic Operation Hours: Monday to Friday: 8 am - 6pm
Saturday: 8 am - 1 pm (Alternate Saturdays)

Duties and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate must have experience in:

Triage and Assessment of Patients

Wound management and dressings

Immunisations (administering and ordering)

Quality Improvement within the practice - Chronic Disease management assistant to General Practitioners (TCA, GPMP and Health Assessments)

Perform clinical examinations and diagnostic testing such as ECG's, spirometry and ear syringing

Ensure consumables, equipment and medications are kept stocked and maintained to the manufacturer's standards and conditions including maintaining a register of stock

Maintain the cleanliness of clinical rooms to a high standard in accordance with national standards

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Work with the practice manager and principal to maintain a suite of practice policies and procedures

Essential Requirements:

Current unrestricted registration as Nurse with AHPRA

Current CPR Certificate

Immunisation Competency Certificate

Demonstrate experience in cold chain management and monitoring

Australian working rights with no restrictions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritise your workload and working autonomously

Maintain a vibrant and friendly attitude

Willingness to assist in Administrative tasks

Excellent computer skills is a requirement

Professional attitude and proactive work ethic with attention to detail

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Ability to work both independently and or as part of a TEAM

Must be available to work alternate Saturdays
