Driver Hire Sydney currently supply the biggest transport companies in the NSW market.We are currently looking for MR and HR Truck Delivery Drivers for our client based in Strathfield, NSW. Our client is one of Australia’s largest meat (pork, beef and lamb) wholesale suppliers.
Duties of the role:

• MR/HR Delivery Driver (Manual truck) - delivering fresh meat carcasses up to 70 kgs - training will be provided in how to handle/carry the produce
• Multi-drop deliveries across Sydney area and regional areas
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames
• Conducting pre-delivery preparations - matching and confirming orders to goods loaded for delivery
• Providing excellent Customer Service and Relations
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues
• Adhere to company values, principles and policies
• Complying to Work Health and Safety (WHS) and other operational procedures
• Adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management and Road Regulations

Requirements of the role:

• Valid MR/HR Truck Driver’s Licence (Manual gearbox) and minimum 1 year delivery experience
• Experienced in multi-drop deliveries across Greater Sydney region
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Good communication skills
• Good attention to detail and high procedural compliance
• Have a good Driving Record
• Basic knowledge of metro and regional delivery routes
• Unlimited work rights in Australia
• Available for an immediate start
