About the role
As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for programs of work targeting system-wide enhancements, working in close collaboration with research leads and other internal and external specialists to deliver programs. The position will apply analytical skills and discipline expertise across a range of areas identifying requirements and specifications; stakeholder management; project scoping, co-design and development; input of research data management knowledge; and workflow design.
You will:
- lead, manage and be accountable for all aspects of the program/s lifecycle, including developing and reviewing processes within assigned budget, resource allocations and reporting requirements;
- oversee program governance with co-investment partners;
- identify and manage interaction between programs of work across CeRDI's major research thematic areas;
- maintain, implement and review the operations of program/s, including day-to-day management of program team members; and
- develop and implement innovative solutions to problems and provide specialist advice to key stakeholders
About you
Reporting to the Director, CeRDI, you will possess demonstrated planning and organisational skills coupled with experience in design a delivering large programs with multiple stakeholders and projects. You will also have an understanding of research and development process including the complexities in involved in supporting research,
You will possess demonstrated:
- specialist knowledge in related disciplines of agriculture, natural capital and environment or an area of national digital research infrastructure;
- capability in leading strong and high performing multi-disciplinary teams;
- interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence; and
- relationship management and consulting skills
