Classroom Teacher – Music Teacher (three day classroom music program / two day instrumental program)

Newport Lakes Primary School is a Foundation to Grade 6 government school with a current enrolment of 565 students. Newport Lakes PS has a proud 170-year history in our local community and is located in quiet surroundings on the corner of Elizabeth Street and Ross Street, Newport, just minutes from the Westgate Bridge.

An amazing opportunity becoming available for someone to join our school as part of our valued specialist teaching team. We are looking for an ongoing, classroom music teacher to run our well-established music program. Ideally, this unique position suits an employee (trained as primary school classroom teacher) who is able to run a two day instrumental program for small groups of students (preferably Brass, Woodwind, and Percussion), as well as a three day classroom program for Foundation to Year 6 as part of our many specialist programs offered here at Newport Lakes Primary School.

This full-time classroom teacher (Music Teacher) position is to commence on the 27th of January, 2026. A valid VIT is essential.
