Provide financial and policy insights that matter
Are you an emerging financial, budget or policy professional with strong analytical skills? Queensland Treasury is looking for analysts that can help develop solutions to complex, financial, budgetary and policy problems. Be part of a multi-disciplinary team that sits at the heart of the Queensland Government, delivering practical advice and insights to help shape Queensland's fiscal position and policy directions. Roles are available across a number of levels and policy areas.
In this role, you will:
• Undertake research, monitoring and analysis of agency budgets, financial information and related policy issues
• Assist in preparing and interpreting financial and non-financial performance reports
• Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, submissions and presentations
• Engage with stakeholders to support collaborative outcomes
• Participate in team-based projects and Treasury initiatives
What experience you will bring:
• Experience in analysing financial and non-financial performance information and data
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to contribute independently and within a team
• The drive to grow as a financial or policy analyst in a central agency
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
