About the role

Are you an experienced and skilled Painter and Decorator seeking an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a talented Painting and Decorating professional to join our team at Brilliance's Painting Service in Cairns, Queensland. This is a full-time position, offering the chance to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects within the local area.

What you'll be doin

Preparing surfaces for painting and decorating, such as sanding, filling, and priming

Applying high-quality paints, varnishes, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and trims

Hanging wallpaper and other decorative materials

Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment throughout projects

Collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional results for our clients

Adhering to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, preferably within the building trades industry

Strong practical skills in surface preparation, painting, and wallpapering techniques

Good eye for detail and an ability to achieve a high-quality finish

Excellent time management and organisational skills

A team-oriented approach and good communication skills

A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transport
