Established in 2018, Buddy Up Australia is a national non-government organisation dedicated to enriching the lives of military veterans and emergency services personnel. We do this by fostering community, purpose, and connection.

We operate through a growing network of volunteer-led chapters across the country, delivering a unique model of support grounded in peer connection. Our activities range from group fitness and outdoor adventures to social catch-ups and purposeful volunteering, all tailored to the unique social, psychological, and physical needs of those who have served/currently serve.

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and community-minded Team Leader to coordinate events and build local impact for veterans and first responders across the greater Melbourne/Geelong area.

In this hands-on role, you'll lead a team of dedicated volunteers to plan, schedule, and deliver high-quality events that bring Buddy Up Australia’s mission to life. You’ll be the face of BUA in your region - building local partnerships, engaging members, and growing a strong, connected community of current and former first responders.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role with purpose, helping veterans and emergency services personnel stay active, connected, and supported.
