We are currently looking for a skilled and qualified Painter to join our dynamic team. If you’re a versatile trades professional with a passion for hands-on work and attention to detail, we’d love to meet you!

Position Overview:
As a Qualified Painter, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the appearance and integrity of our village facilities. Your work will directly contribute to creating a welcoming, safe, and visually appealing environment for our guests.

This hands-on role involves a variety of painting and surface preparation tasks, from touch-ups and routine maintenance to larger-scale refurbishment projects. You’ll work closely with our maintenance team to ensure all areas, from guest accommodations to communal spaces, are kept in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Paint, stain, and finish surfaces across village buildings and park structures

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming

Conduct regular inspections to spot areas needing attention

Assist with general maintenance tasks like carpentry and repairs

Support larger projects such as renovations and upgrades to park amenities

Work closely with the maintenance team to keep the park looking its best

Maintain tools and a tidy workspace

Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

Help uphold our commitment to cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction

Requirements:

Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., builder, carpenter, plumber, or painter).

Proven experience in a trades role, ideally within a resort, hotel, or similar environment.

A current manual driver’s licence (essential for transporting equipment)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective communication skills and a positive, helpful attitude.

Physical fitness for a hands-on role and a valid driver’s license.

Available to work a flexible 7-day roster, Monday to Sunday as required.
