We’re currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Electrician for our client, who are a global leader in the manufacture of sub-systems for rail and commercial vehicles. Their facility housed close to Melbourne (Western Suburbs), focuses on the manufacture, overhaul, and repair of various rail systems.

This role is responsible for the disassembly, assembly, maintenance, and testing of various Rolling Stock (train) componentry and equipment with an electrical focus.

This job would suit

• Trade qualified or similar (e.g. A Grade Electrician, Electrical Fitter, Diploma)
• Experience working with disassembly, reassembly, maintenance and/or testing of industrial equipment and componentry (e.g. automotive, defence, manufacturing, aviation, mining, or other).
• Ability to read basic electrical diagrams/schematics and experience with wire crimping is essential
• Full working rights in Australia – Only Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or New Zealand Citizens will be considered
