We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential carpentry and be able to read plans, measure and cut materials accurately, and work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. The work is only on the Northside of Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from drawings, and specifications

Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials

Build frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes

Install windows, doors, cabinets, and trim

Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Follow all health and safety regulations on site

Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contractors

Ensure quality of finished work and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role

Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods

Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

Good physical condition and stamina

Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in carpentry or construction

Experience with both residential and commercial projects

Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
