About the Role
Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Duty Manager will oversee day-to-day operations and lead by example in all areas of the venue.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and inspire the team
- Maintain high presentation and service standards
- Ensure compliance with Liquor Licensing, Racing, Gaming, OH&S, and other regulations
- Manage rosters, wages, cash handling, and reconciliation
- Handle customer feedback and ensure smooth running of events and promotions
What You'll Bring
- Proven supervisory or management experience in hospitality
- Strong knowledge of liquor and compliance requirements
- Experience in staff leadership
- Competent in cash handling and financial procedures
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
