A bit about the role
This role sits in our Information Technology Team within the Customer and Corporate Services Division. As a Senior Test Analyst, you will work in a small team and ensure Casey’s software meets specifications and maintains high quality. This includes usability, functionality, integration, performance, user acceptance and regression testing.
What you’ll deliver
- Provide specialist technical knowledge and be the test expert on projects to create Test Strategy / approach for projects, which align with Test Services including organisational testing standards, methodologies, tools and fit for purpose practices.
- Lead testing in Project / Sprint Planning and requirement meetings to understand the scope of a sprint/release, identify Testing requirements and estimate for Individual projects.
- Document Test cases and Test Scenarios within the test tool.
- Execute testing for projects and report on progress and summary of testing.
- Contribute towards the development of testing standards and improvements.
What you’ll bring
- Solid experience with test management tools similar to XRAY, Zephyr, TestRail, ALM Quality centre.
- Tertiary qualification in IT or a related business field.
- Certification in Testing (ISTQB or equivalent).
- Technology One applications experience would be an advantage.
- Payment Platform experience would be an advantage.
- Extensive experience in software testing covering all test types and levels of test.
- Experience in API testing with Postman, SoapUI or similar tools.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check.
- A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
