Since 1978 Beehive Vinyl Products Pty Ltd has grown into a solid, reputable local fabricator of Vinyl, Canvas and Shade cloth products for consumer and commercial applications as well as providing Motor and Marine trimming products and services in Townsville.

Due to an increase in work commitments, we have vacancies for industrial sewing machinists/ workshop assistant; applicants interested in learning to use industrial sewing machines to assist in manufacturing of vinyl tool bags as well as possibly other vinyl, canvas and shade cloth goods. Workshop Assistant duties will include but are not limited to, cutting, counting, sorting, welding of vinyl & canvas as well as other workshop duties.

For sewing of tool bags, experience in operating industrial sewing machines is preferred, however applicants experienced in operating lighter duty sewing machines and / or applicants willing to learn to sew on industrial machines are welcome to apply. On job training will be provide din use of industrial machines. Suitable applicant must be conscientious, have a great eye for detail, fit for work, energetic, aim to meet production deadlines, have basic numeracy skills and able to work in a team environment.

Position available is casual position however the opportunity may arise for offer of full time employment in the future.
