Job Title: Senior Accountant
Reports To: Finance Manager (who reports to the CFO)

As one of two Senior Accountants in the business, your role will be both broad and impactful, offering exposure to all areas of the organisation, including active projects and core operations.

Main Purpose of the Role

• Support the timely and accurate preparation of all statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements company-wide.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of financial and operational reporting systems to drive improved business profitability and efficiency.
• Lead, manage, and mentor one accounting team member.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly financial reporting, including forecasts, projection analysis, and work-in-hand reviews for the General Manager.
• Support the preparation of company tax returns and contribute to the optimal management of tax obligations and liabilities.
• Actively participate in end-of-month processes and financial reporting, including job cost forecasting and analysis, cost movements, WIP, realised projects, and broader management reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of end-of-year financial report statements for external accountants, including budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Skills & Experience required

• CA or CPA qualified
• Recognised degree
• A minimum of 10 years in financial management with senior-level experience, as well as relevant industry experience
