Position Overview:

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for installing pre-engineered fire suppression systems, as well as servicing and rebuilding existing fire systems on mobile mining equipment. Your work will primarily be located at Roy Hill mine site on 2:2 roster for a period of 6 to 9 months. As a Fire Suppression Technician, you will also provide technical and product support, alongside maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and diagnose faults in Fire Suppression systems.

Create and manage inspection test reports and related documentation.

Collaborate with technicians from other regions and contribute to training initiatives.

Assist with machine audits and inspections.

Identify electrical and mechanical faults in various mobile suppression systems.

Effectively manage and control stock levels.

Thrive in both team and independent work settings.

Exhibit a collaborative and team-oriented approach.

Demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills.

Apply independent and logical thinking to your tasks.

Candidate Profile:

Possession of a valid Driver's License is mandatory.

Successful clearance of a Police background check.

Proficiency across servicing various fire suppression system brands, including installation procedures (experience in Mobile Fire Suppression systems installation is advantageous).

Strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities.

Adaptability to accommodate customer requirements, adhere to procedures, and comply with safety protocols.

A positive attitude and high attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination.

Must have the legal right to live and work in Australia.
