About the role

At Sports Tuition, we're seeking a passionate Outdoor Recreation Instructor to join our team based in Alexandra Headland, Queensland. This is a casual position, allowing you to enjoy the flexibility to balance your work and personal life. As an Outdoor Recreation Instructor, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging and safe recreational activities to our clients, helping them develop new skills and explore the great outdoors.

What you'll be doing

Facilitating a range of outdoor recreation activities such as canoeing, high ropes, rock climbing, fishing, and team building exercises

Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all participants by adhering to relevant policies and procedures

Providing clear and effective instruction, coaching, and guidance to help participants develop their skills

Maintaining equipment and facilities to the highest standards

Collaborating with the broader team to continuously improve our outdoor recreation programs

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in Outdoor Recreation, Education, or a related field

Demonstrated experience in leading and instructing outdoor recreation activities

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants

A passion for the outdoors and a commitment to promoting safe and responsible recreational practices

Current first aid and CPR certifications and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

A flexible and adaptable approach, able to work effectively in a team or independently
