Talent Connect is excited to be partnering with a leading insurance company that’s looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join their team in Ormeau.

This role focuses on driving new business and managing a pipeline of prospects across the SME market. If you’re passionate about client relationships, solution selling, and making a real impact—this role is for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities
• Build strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and documentation
• Resolve client issues promptly and ensure compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams and identify cross-sell opportunities
• Stay current with industry trends and contribute ideas for improvement

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar sales or business development role
• Background in insurance, banking, or financial services preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and drive results
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or Dip Fin Services (desirable)

$79,000 + 5-7% Commission (Depending on performance)
