As a Self-Storage Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day operations of our storage facilities. This is a varied role combining customer service, site maintenance, and operational duties.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers with enquiries, unit viewings, and move-ins/move-outs

Operate forklift for moving and positioning goods cage safely and efficiently

Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of all facilities

Perform regular site checks and lock audits

Process payments, prepare rental agreements, and update customer records

Provide basic maintenance and minor repairs around the site

Ensure compliance with OH&S procedures and company policies

Support the team with general administrative tasks and reporting

About You

Must hold a current forklift license (LF)

Current driver’s license and own reliable transport

Previous experience in self-storage, warehousing, or customer service preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties
