Senior Underwriter - Hybrid Role (Chatswood)

We are working with a client who is seeking a Senior Underwriter for a hybrid role based in Chatswood, NSW. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing superior customer service and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Reviewing applications for both residential and commercial title insurance.

Coordinating with internal stakeholders to design and implement ways to mitigate loss through changes in underwriting.

Assisting all product groups with the design and implementation of new product offerings.

Providing leadership to a team of 1 to 2 direct reports.

Essential requirements for this position include 3-4 years of experience in Strata and residential or commercial title insurance or property law. Desirable criteria include a Bachelor of Law or a conveyancing background. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
