Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and providing outstanding service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, lattes, and other specialty beverages, according to established recipes and standards.

- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices.

- Ensure the quality and consistency of all coffee beverages.

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.

- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including coffee stations, counters, and seating areas.

- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

- Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.

- Handle cash and process payments accurately.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and a positive work environment.

- Stay updated on coffee trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Barista (minimum 1 year preferred).

- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso machine operation.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
