About the role

The Host Ranger represents Parks and Wildlife Services (PWS) while creating unforgettable experiences for walkers visiting the Three Capes Track.

In this role, the Host Ranger will:

  • Ensure visitors have access to information, interpretation, advice, and assistance.
  • Manage bookings and present cabins.
  • Captivate and engage visitors with storytelling.
  • Share your knowledge of the natural and cultural heritage of the area.

Our ideal candidate has

  • Strong storytelling ability with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ready to engage with and captivate visitors.
  • Commitment to creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Passion for the outdoors, natural and cultural heritage.
  • Physical fitness and bushwalking experience.
  • Working with Vulnerable People registration.
  • Wilderness and/or Workplace Level 2 First Aid qualifications.
