About the role
As an Educator at Bright Beginnings Out of School Hours Care in Kalgoorlie, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and engaging activities for children aged 4-12 years old. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development and wellbeing of young minds in a supportive and nurturing environment.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and interacting with children during before and after school hours, as well as during school holidays

Organising and facilitating a range of age-appropriate educational and recreational activities

Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children in your care

Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required

Collaborating with a team of dedicated Educators to provide a seamless and engaging experience for the children

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulations within the childcare industry

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting- not require but desired

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families and colleagues

Ability to think creatively and plan engaging activities that support children's learning and development

A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their wellbeing

Flexible and adaptable approach to accommodate the needs of our diverse community

Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
