About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to provide high quality General Practitioner services to clients of the Halwyn Centre. The role involves providing general practice services to residents and respite clients including preventative healthcare

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Public Service, the Metro North Health (MNH) and Community and Oral Health values
• Undertake a global health assessment at the time of the client's entry to the service
• Manage ongoing and/or chronic health conditions during the client's stay and attend to preventative health care as required
• Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces
