About the role
This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients. This role includes varied responsibilities such as assisting our clients with personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping, socialising and transportation services. Each client has a tailored program developed with their family and Case Manager to meet their individual goals and this generates a varied and dynamic work environment for our Home Care Workers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering reliable, high-quality Aged Care Home Care Services. You will strive to go above and beyond, exceeding expectations in every way and providing an environment for our clients that's not just safe and comfortable, but a thoroughly enjoyable place to be.
We are looking for Casual Home Care Workers available to work:
Within and around Bankstown-Canterbury LGA
Please only apply if you are available to work during the following time periods:
Monday to Friday between 8am to 11am
Monday to Friday between 2pm to 6pm
Shift duties include the following:
Personal Care
Domestic Care
Transport
Meal Preparation
Shopping Support
Companion Support
Skills you’ll need to succeed
Qualified with a Certificate III in Community Services or Aged Care
Relevant experience in the Aged Care sector or working with people with dementia
Current and unrestricted Driver's License
A registered motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
Competent verbal and written communication skills
An awareness of WH&S and manual handling procedure
Have a genuine desire to help others
The ability to manage a demanding workload and a range of priorities
The ability to use a smartphone (touch screen, internet, and email functions)
Positive attitude and adaptable to change
