Conveniently located in the heart of Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour, our services are supported by established logistics, experienced engineers and tradespeople, specialised equipment, dock-side facilities and a professional corporate division.

About the Position

Sea Harvest Marine is now seeking to employ a permanent Electrician, ideally with previous related marine experience. (We will also consider applicants possessing an Electrical Contractors certificate or those willing to undertake the course)

Tasks shall include but not limited to:

· New installations to Class or Australian Standards.

· Repairs and modifications to AC and DC systems.

· RCD substation testing.

· Diagnostics and replacement of faulty electrical components.

· Rewiring.

· Component diagnostics and repair.

· Installations of alarms and control systems.

· Modifications of overseas vessels and equipment to Australian Standards.

· Operation and maintenance of power management systems.

· Operation, maintenance and repairs to winching systems.

About You

· You must possess a WA endorsed Electrical Workers License.

· You must have a valid Western Australian Driver’s License.

· You must have a minimum 2 year’s electrical trade experience.

· You must take great pride in your workmanship.

· You must be teamwork oriented.

· You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and accountable for your work.

The Important Stuff

An hourly rate of $55+ shall be negotiated, commensurate with the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience.
