About the client:
Our client is a global market leader in manufacturing and supplying quality blinds in Australia.

They are currently looking for the following:
Blinds Assemblers & Sewers (will need to do the packing too if required)

Duties:

Use of hand and power tools.

Reading assembly diagrams and instructions

Cutting/sewing the fabric and operating the machine.

Prepare the roller tube and cut the roller tube to match the fabric's width.

Use machines to glue or fasten the fabric onto the roller tube.

Install the bottom bar.

Assemble the rolling mechanism. Attach the chain or spring system to the roller tube.

Check the blinds to make sure they roll smoothly and are aligned properly.

Pack the finished blinds for shipping and label them correctly.

Shift Timings: Will undergo 2-week training between 7:00am to 3:30pm

Monday to Friday | Morning shift 5am to 1:30pm

38 hours per week

Pay Rate: $32/hr + Super

To be qualified for the position:
Assemblers and Sewers

Prior experience in assembling products.

Sewing experience

Experience with hand and power tools.

Ability to read instructions well and assemble blinds accurately.

Has a strong technical aptitude for machine operation training

Strong attention to detail.

Willingness to pack products when required.

Can commit to Monday to Friday work.

Has access to own reliable car to go to and from work.
