About the role

Citadel Security Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Torquay, VIC. As a casual Security Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises and personnel. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organization in the security industry.

What you'll be doing

Conducting regular patrols and inspections of assigned premises to identify and address any security concerns

Crowd controlling, Asset protection

Monitoring and responding to security alarms, CCTV systems, and other security measures

Providing a visible security presence to deter and prevent criminal activity

Reporting any incidents, accidents, or security breaches to the appropriate authorities and management

Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all security-related activities

Assisting with the implementation and enforcement of security policies and procedures

Providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role, preferably within the Trades & Services industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Physically fit and able to perform the duties of the role, including regular patrols and standing for extended periods

A valid Security Guard license or the ability to obtain one

A commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and security
