About the role

South East Civil Pty Ltd is seeking a Civil Pipelayer to join our team in Kunda Park, QLD. As a Civil Pipelayer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of underground utility pipelines, contributing to the development and infrastructure of the local community.

What you'll be doing

Excavate and prepare trenches for the installation of pipes

Lay, fit and join various types of pipes, including water, sewage and stormwater drainage systems

Operate relevant machinery and equipment, such as excavators and pipe lasers

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Assist with the back-filling and compaction of trenches

Collaborate with other trade professionals to complete projects efficiently

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Civil Pipelayer or in a similar construction role

Cert III in Pipelaying (highly desirable)

Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Proficient in the use of relevant machinery and equipment

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions

Current construction industry white card, confined spaces ticket and driver's licence
