NeuroCentrix is a private neuroscience facility dedicated to evidence-based assessment, treatment and research of memory and mood disorders. We provide high quality patient care in a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment. We are one of the leading providers of outpatient Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a form of brain stimulation and esketamine (Spravato) treatments. Both used in the treatment of chronic depression.

We are seeking registered nurses preferably with experience in esketamine (Spravato) administration to work in our clinic in Carlton and Mount Eliza. Some training will be provided in our Carlton (head office).

As a NeuroCentrix Treatment Services Nurse you will be involved in providing the following treatments, esketamine, TMS and IV infusions.

This Role

As a Treatment Services Nurse, located in our Clinics, you will be primarily responsible for the safe and effective administration of esketamine (Spravato) treatment to patients with chronic mental health conditions. You will also be trained in the administration of TMS treatment.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Explain and administer esketamine and or TMS treatment to patients with chronic depression, and other psychiatric conditions

Maintain clinical case notes and prepare reports

Clinical risk assessments

Administer psychometrics

Participate in clinical case meetings and ongoing training

Suicide risk assessments

About You:

Registered nurses with current AHPRA registration

Experience within mental health is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided

Maturity, sensitivity and empathy toward patients, with a focus on delivering high-quality care

Excellent attention to detail and conscientiousness in following procedures

Strong problem-solving skills

Highly organised, with the ability to work independently

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Commitment to delivering a positive, patient-centred care experience
