About the role:
The Client Support Worker position full-time 38 hours per week 1.0 FTE, on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role sits within our Response and Recovery team in Bendigo and directly supports the Integrated Practice Workers working with victim/survivors of family violence in delivering high-quality, client centred support.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Empower Clients - Work alongside Integrated Practice Workers to support adult and child victim/survivors through referrals, housing applications, material aid, and transport coordination.
- Be a Trusted Guide - Engage directly with clients, accompany them to appointments, and help create a welcoming, child-safe environment.
- Keep Things Running Smoothly - Maintain accurate and confidential client records, manage data entry, and support reporting processes.
- Build Strong Connections - Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless support and advocacy.

What we are looking for:
- A relevant VET qualification (e.g., Diploma of Community Services, Youth Work, or Alcohol and Other Drugs). A Social Work qualification is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A foundational understanding of family violence dynamics.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
