Caloundra City Private School invites expressions of interest from passionate and committed educators for a contract position teaching Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) and Technologies in our vibrant secondary school. About the Role

We are seeking an educator who is skilled in designing engaging learning experiences across HASS and Technologies subjects. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to student growth, curriculum development, and broader school life.

This position is for the remainder of 2025 and is available for immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, future-focused learning experiences in HASS and/or Technologies

Cater to diverse learning needs through innovative teaching strategies

Assess and report on student learning using relevant data

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and improvement

Participate actively in school events and the broader co-curricular program

Maintain a course work on a Learning Management System (CANVAS preferred) for high impact teaching and learning content, assessment delivery, and feedback.

What We’re Looking For

Tertiary qualifications in Education, with specialisation in HASS and/or Technologies

Experience teaching in a secondary school environment (P-10 teachers will be held in high regard)

Demonstrated capacity to build positive relationships with students and staff

Strong classroom management and contemporary pedagogical practice

Commitment to ongoing professional learning and school improvement
