MULTI-SITE ASSITANT MANAGER

Working in conjunction with our Operations Manager as our multi-site assistant manager you will be responsible for maintaining, and assisting in the improvement of our retail businesses.

You will be required to work between any one of our 6 sites and will at times be required to be stationed at a different site than planned ad hoc dependent on business requirements for that day. This given, you will need to be flexible and adaptable above all else.

Your personality needs to be one that shows empathy towards the business's needs and challenges, confidence to handle ad hoc changes to your role and the hospitality ability to be immediately successful in the various FOH roles that you will be required to fill at various times.

You need to be coachable and possess the ability to be upskilled in our operations quickly to be successful within the role. You will be assuming management of long term established casual team members so therefore will need to have the confidence and experience to absorb critical business information quickly and concurrently work beside and manage our existing team.

The schedule for this fulltime role is generally Sunday to Thursday. Sunday, you will be responsible to manage our 2 busy and growing New Farm shops. Monday-Thursday you will be stationed at one of our 3 retail sites either in New Farm or The Gap. From time to time you may also be required to work at one of our weekend market stalls at West End or Milton, and this means early mornings.

As our Retail Operations Managers, Assistant Manager you will be required to work with her flexibly across our sites when staff shortages occur.

We are looking to add someone that is great at what they do, organized, flexible, high energy, pleasant, easy to work with and easy for upper management to direct and rely upon.

The Bakeologists is a well established bakery/cafe business with 6 locations within inner Brisbane. We have 2 bakery/cafe’s, a grab and go bakery, food truck, 2 weekly market stalls and a wholesale bakery business. We make all of our products in-house and are always looking to refining and improving our product and offerings, in an effort to be the best that we can.
