Native Plant Nursery Team Member

Plantrite is Western Australia’s leading wholesale native nursery, supplying seedlings for large-scale revegetation, carbon, and environmental restoration projects. Based in Bullsbrook, we’re a small, close-knit team working with purpose — to green W.A. with native flora.
We’re looking for a hands-on, adaptable Nursery Team Member to join us full-time. If you’ve got a great attitude, enjoy physical work, and are keen to learn all aspects of nursery operations — we’d love to hear from you.

🔧 What You’ll Do

No two days are the same. You’ll get hands-on experience with a wide range of tasks, including:

• Operating nursery machinery (e.g. seeding lines, transplanters)
• General nursery duties: propagation, potting, picking/packing, irrigation, weeding
• Operating tractors and assisting with dispatch and logistics
• Supporting our integrated pest management (IPM) program, including monitoring and treatments
• Chemical application (where appropriate) — ChemCert preferred
• Participating in weekend watering duties, which may be regular

🙌 What We’re Looking For

• A positive, can-do attitude — we value willingness to learn over formal experience
• Some horticulture or nursery experience is a plus, but not essential
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions (heat, rain, standing/lifting)
• Someone who enjoys variety and being part of a small, supportive team
• Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic

🕓 Work Hours & Pay

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 12:30pm
• Weekend watering roster (may be regular)
• Pay: $35 per hour (full-time)
