About the role

Winpart Group is seeking an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Driver to join our team in Bathurst, NSW. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across regional destinations.

If you prefer working in the afternoon and enjoy a more predictable schedule, this could be the ideal role for you. We’re offering an immediate start, though we're happy to accommodate the right candidates.

The current afternoon shift position runs 5 days per week Sunday to Thursday, starting at 3.30pm and finishing around 12.00am. Shift allowances are included in the advertised pay rate, with potential overtime shifts available incorporating an earlier start time. The position will involve driving new Volvo automatic trucks, immediate start preferred, but not essential.

What you'll be doing

Operating heavy vehicles such as semi-trailers in a safe and professional manner

Loading and unloading vehicles, securing loads and completing required documentation

Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies

Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles

Providing excellent customer service and on-time deliveries

Communicating regularly with dispatch and fleet management teams

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a HC-licensed driver in the road transport industry

Excellent driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices

Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail

Effective communication and customer service skills

A current HC driver's licence and a clean driving record
