About the Role

You’ll act as the technical authority for utility-scale BESS projects in development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing electrical specifications, SLDs, and design documentation
• Managing and reviewing work from external engineering consultants, OEMs, and EPCs
• Providing input into grid connection strategy and supporting GPS negotiations
• Supporting equipment selection, design reviews, and technical due diligence
• Collaborating cross-functionally with development, delivery, and commercial teams

About You

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
• 5+ years experience in the renewable energy sector, ideally with BESS or HV experience
• Strong understanding of Australian grid requirements and NER compliance
• Ability to interpret complex technical documents and engage with external parties
• Comfortable navigating the early development and preconstruction phases of projects
