Hays Recruitment are working with a well-known service provider who are currently seeking reliable and safety-conscious drivers to support transport operations at a Defence site located in Puckapunyal. As this is a defence site, you must be an Australian Citizen to apply.

Your new role

Reporting to the transport coordinator, you will be responsible for transporting personnel who are based on site.

• Safely operate and manage a range of vehicles and designated defence vehicles.
• Provide medical-related transport services, including the secure handling of patients, medical samples, and documentation.
• Transport personnel for various purposes, such as shuttle services, school bus runs, ceremonial events, and general site movements.
• Deliver equipment and materials, including mail and courier items, in accordance with site protocols.
• Ensure timely and secure delivery of mail, applying appropriate security measures during transit.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experienced at driving
• Current Victorian Driving licence
• Australian Citizen
• Heavy Rigid Licence or Heavy Combination Licence-highly desirable
• Commercial passenger vehicle (CPV) driver accreditation, or willing to obtain one.
• Able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required
• A positive attitude along with a high level of attention to detail and good communication skills.
