Opportunity for an experienced HC Truck Driver-Sydney Metro Area

We are seeking an experienced HC truck driver who is a Self-motivated individual looking for their next challenge!

Gates Haulage is a successful business that has been established since the 1970's and continues to proudly operate within the supply chain industries.

Our head office is based in Gerringong NSW, whilst our services and products are supplied state-wide and into the Sydney Metroplitan area.

Your Key Responsibilities would be

• Transport waste and recyclable materials in prime mover and walking-floor semi-trailers between recycling and processing centres within the Sydney Metropolitan area.
• Inspect vehicles for pre-start/safety issues.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, document and log work and rest periods, monitor and record mass and legal axle weights, whilst complying with company policies and procedures.

Experience and skills required

• HC drivers license held for a minimum of 2 years with walking floor trailer experience.
• Ability to work well within a team environment and navigating stressful situations.
