Our client is a market leader in their industry and they are currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. Within this role, you will responsible for the design, deployment, and administration of on-premises Kubernetes infrastructure.

Your responsibilities include (Not limited):

• Overseeing and enhancing high-performance storage solutions and virtualisation platforms to meet the needs of research and enterprise workloads.
• Utilising Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible for consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and updates.
• Working closely with diverse teams, including developers, security experts, and researchers, to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• In-depth knowledge and application of Kubernetes networking, using CNI plugins, ingress controllers, and service meshes to ensure efficient and secure communication within the cluster.

You will need:

• Extensive experience in Kubernetes administration and deployment. (Mandatory)
• Experience working within a on-premises environment (Mandatory)
• Experience acorss design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters for scalable and reliable container orchestration.
• Experience with architecting and managing on-premises infrastructure to support critical business operations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and streamline system processes.
• Proven track record in managing on-premises infrastructure and systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Strong skills in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or Ansible
