About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to support adult services across the hospital. Redcliffe Hospital Psychology Department currently provides services to the following adult health areas: Inpatients, Cancer Care, Gastroenterology, and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Screening Clinic (persistent pain).

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Deliver high level clinical psychology services (Clinical/ health and assessment/ interventions) as a member of a multidisciplinary team with infrequent need for direct clinical supervision. Contribute to the clinical management of the adult patient cohort (particularly inpatients), and sometimes paediatric patients where required. This may include inpatient and outpatient services.
• Working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and providing clinical consultation and liaison.
• Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within clinical service area.
• Initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of psychology services.
