About the role

MC Driver with forklift duties

Karratha, WA (local role not FIFO)

12 hr. days (8hrs. paid at base rate then penalties)

Fulltime Monday to Friday

Onboarding commences mid-august - start date September 1st

What you'll be doing

Ensure to comply with the companies' policies and procedures

Operate vehicles efficiently and professionally, ensuring pre- and post-start checks are completed.

Operate Forklift within the yard

Report defects promptly and maintain accurate documentation (e.g., cartage dockets, service requests).

Adhere to all company procedures and initiate corrective actions when necessary.

Supervise as directed and care for assigned vehicles and equipment.

Ensure full compliance with:

Main Roads heavy vehicle guidelines

Fatigue management (Standard, Basic, Advanced under NHVL)

Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations

Load management, including weight limits, dangerous goods, permits, and restraint requirements

Requirements

MC licence - unrestricted

Experience driving tandem steer trailers and tippers

Current National Police clearance

Forklift ticket and operational experience (requirement)

Consent to a medical and/or drug and alcohol pre-employment check
