Airways Aviation Australia operates Cessna C172, C182, Piper PA44-180 and Diamond DA42 aircraft. We are an Authorised Diamond Service Centre with component capabilities. Along with our own fleet, we also maintain customer aircraft. We are currently seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME or LAME) to join the team at our Gold Coast Base.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct maintenance operations in a compliant and safe manner
Ensure the highest standards in the engineering aspects of our services.
Maintain accurate schedules and records.
Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures
Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures
Efficient time management to meet maintenance schedules and deadlines.
Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry standards and technologies
Familiarity with aviation maintenance software and tools.
Meticulous approach to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards.
You will report directly to the Chief Engineer
Essential Criteria
B1.2 CASA License preferred, but not essential.
Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)
Current and valid Driver’s License.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Holds or can obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
Relevant qualifications or experience in General Aviation.
At least three years of aircraft maintenance experience in a commercial setting.
Proficiency in computer-based maintenance management systems.
Comprehensive understanding of CAR30 Aircraft Maintenance Regulatory Framework
Salary Range
$80 - $110 per annum, plus super - Remuneration is based on qualifications and experience.
Desirable Skills/ Qualifications
Holding a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) would be advantageous. However, if you are an unlicensed AME, we strongly encourage you to apply.
Experience with sheet metal repairs and fabrication highly desirable.
