Join Our Growing Multidisciplinary Team at ECM

We are seeking a passionate Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our Multidisciplinary team, working closely with Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Exercise Physiologists (EPs) to deliver exceptional care to children with ADHD, ASD, developmental delays, and other conditions.

The successful applicant will be either Full Time or Part Time (days negotiable) to work across our Hamilton and Rutherford Clinics.

This role reports directly to our General Manager and joins a well-established team of Clinicians, Allied Health Assistants and our Administration Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evidence-based Physiotherapy assessments (e.g., Gross Motor Function Measure) and interventions for Paediatric clients, aligning with NDIS goals.

Collaborate with OTs (e.g., using Vineland-3 data) and EPs (e.g., integrating 6MWT results) to develop holistic NDIS-compliant care plans.

Uphold AHPRA and NDIS standards, ensuring secure documentation per Australian Privacy Principles.

Administering muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability tests to identify and assess physical problems of patients

Treating patients to reduce pain, improve circulation, strengthen muscles, improve cardiothoracic, cardiovascular and respiratory functions, restore joint mobility, and improve balance and coordination

Using the therapeutic properties of exercise, heat, cold, massage, manipulation, hydrotherapy

Reviewing, continually monitoring, assessing and evaluating programs and treatments

Instructing patients and their families in procedures to be continued at home

Recording treatments given and patients' responses and progress

Developing and implementing screening and preventative health promotion programs

Engage in continuous Professional Development to stay current with best practice

What We’re Looking For:

AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist

Willingness to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment

Strong knowledge of NDIS, Disability, and Paediatric care

Excellent time management and communication skills

A commitment to person-centred, holistic care

Essentials (or Willingness to Obtain)

Employee Working With Children Check

NDIS Worker Screening Check

National Police Clearance

Current Driver Licence and access to a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle

First Aid & Mental Health First Aid Certification

Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy (Bachelor Degree)

Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance

Ability to work within our clinic hours 8am-5pm and across both Clinics at Rutherford and Hamilton

The salary range for this position is $85,000-$100,000 per year plus superannuation, based on experience and qualifications. This will be pro rata for a successful Part Time applicant.
