About the position:

Our client is seeking a Senior Workers Compensation Lawyer to support a Doyles Guided Insurance Partner , who brings 30 years’ experience and is recognised by Doyle’s Guide as pre-eminent in workers compensation. You will:

• Own a high-volume portfolio of sophisticated claims—fatalities, psychological injury, media-sensitive disputes
• Advise on complex risk, injury management and return-to-work strategies for insurers and employers
• Lead ADR initiatives to reduce commercial exposure and protect stakeholder reputations
• Collaborate on award-winning projects (e.g. “Psychological Claims Management Pathway”)
• Mentor and manage junior solicitors and paralegals within a high-performance team

This role offers rare exposure to portfolio-wide improvement projects and direct partnership in delivering proactive claims management solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ PAE in workers compensation or insurance litigation
• Proven track record on complex liabilities, fatalities and psychological injury claims
• Demonstrated expertise in ADR, negotiation and stakeholder engagement
• Strong commercial acumen, drafting prowess and client-relationship skills
• Business-development mindset with strategic growth focus
