The Role – Physiotherapist (Geriatric & Home Care Focus)
We’re seeking a physiotherapist with one or more years’ experience. Home-care exposure is highly desirable, but if you’re keen to learn and already comfortable managing a varied caseload, we’ll support you every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment in clients’ homes, residential aged-care facilities, and our Clinics.
Manage musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and neurological presentations in adults aged 65 – 95.
Develop individualised rehab plans, fall-prevention programs and therapeutic exercise classes.
Liaise with GPs, nurses and allied health colleagues to deliver truly integrated care.
Participate in quality-improvement projects and optional clinical research.

Clinical
Solid manual-therapy and exercise-prescription skills
Familiarity with in-home safety assessments
Communication & Teamwork
Clear written and verbal education for clients and their families
Empathy across diverse cultural backgrounds
Technical
Confidence using electronic health records (Cliniko) and VALD systems
Openness to adopting new digital health tools
Professional
AHPRA-aligned ethical practice and commitment to lifelong learning
Excellent time-management and caseload planning
Note: Prior home-care experience will be viewed favourably.
Requirements
Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy (recognised in Australia)
Current AHPRA registration & professional indemnity insurance
Open Queensland driver’s licence + reliable vehicle (all mileage reimbursed)
National Police Check, CPR & First-Aid certification
Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations
