About the Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic, proactive pharmacist to join our community pharmacy in Nyngan, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and business-minded Pharmacist to step into a leadership position and develop your management skills in a supportive, rural environment.
You’ll oversee daily operations, support staff, and deliver clinical services in a supportive, friendly environment. The pharmacy dispenses 100–150 scripts per day and provides a wide range of professional services including Webster packing, vaccinations, MedsChecks, and PharmaPrograms.

What’s on Offer

- $60 - $70 per hour plus 12% super
- FREE 3-bedroom accommodation with all utilities included (walking distance to work) – you just pay for your food
- 40.5 hours/week – Monday to Friday + Saturday mornings. No Sundays or public holidays

- Closed for an hour at lunchtime weekdays
- 12 to 24-month contract (shorter terms considered)

- Owner available remotely for support whenever needed

- Opportunity for occasional long weekends and leave

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy
- Dispense prescriptions, provide patient counselling and customer care
- Provide vaccinations, MedsChecks, and PharmaPrograms and 8CPA claiming
- Supervise Webster packing (completed by pharmacy staff)
- Ensure compliance with AHPRA and Pharmacy Board regulations
- Support and lead pharmacy team
- Drive local engagement and business growth

About You

- AHPRA registered pharmacist
- Interested in rural health and building management skills
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Vaccination accredited (or willing to become accredited)

- Ability to work independently and supervise a small team
- Friendly, team-oriented and customer-focused

Desirable

- Experience with FRED Dispense
- Understanding of 8CPA programs and Webstercare
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in community pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacist
